Amazing deli in Oak Park near Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio. The pancakes and bagels are delicious! You must try the chive cream cheese. It’s also super affordable.

Been here a few times and the food never disappoints! Great coffee and always fresh made food! The bagels are some of the best! We always order the lox when we can. I had a serious hankering for a proper pastrami sandwich today, so we headed over to The Onion Roll. This little place offers a lot of dining options as you can order to go from the deli counter, or dine in at the cafe style dining room (which also has a coffee bar). The sandwich came piled high with hot pastrami on ... soft rye bread with sides of coleslaw, pickle spear, and fries. The meat came juicy and with all the right flavor, but I couldn't help adding a little mustard. The only mark against the place, really, is the pricing.
